On the way back from your networking sessions, we will visit Sternatia, an out-of-time village where the local dialect is Griko, a language based on Ancient Greek and dated back to the pre-Roman days when the Greeks were there. Accompanied by our special hosts, “Greek Nonni”, you will visit this petite village famous for its ancient underground mill, one of the biggest in Salento. We will then visit an exclusive and publicly inaccessible Castle with its sumptuous 18th-century garden while tasting delicious sweets prepared by local Mamma.
